isometric illustration

GCP

While working with the team at PopComms, I had the chance to stretch what’s possible inside PowerPoint — creating high-performance visuals that tell complex stories with clarity and precision. One of these projects was an interactive sales tool for GCP, a global company that produces specialist materials for the construction industry.

GCP works with a wide range of clients — from architects and contractors to major construction firms — and they needed a presentation that could speak to all of them. The challenge was clear: move away from a purely product-led message, and instead craft a story that put the customer at the centre.

Architecture made accessible

To help them do that, I designed a custom isometric illustration that brought a typical construction scenario to life. Instead of just listing product specs or showing isolated diagrams, the illustration allowed GCP to show how their materials fit into real-world environments — and how those choices impact efficiency, safety, and design.

This wasn’t just a pretty picture. It was interactive, layered, and built for navigation, giving the sales team a flexible, visual tool they could adapt on the fly depending on who they were speaking to.

Beyond the main scene, I also created a set of modular isometric components to help illustrate complex architectural structures across the tool — from foundation layers to rooftop systems.

This project was a perfect example of how well-considered illustration can cut through complexity and make even the most technical offering feel accessible. Plus, there’s something deeply satisfying about seeing architecture, storytelling, and design all come together in one clean, clickable interface.
